Milestone Therapeutic Services

Specializing in pediatric occupational therapy, Milestone Therapeutic Services provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for children from birth through 21 in schools, day care centers and home settings. Occupational therapy services are provided to develop, improve, and/or remediate deficits in fine motor, gross motor, neuromotor, sensory processing, visual-motor and perceptual skills.

Milestone Therapeutic Services staff have experience, and are well trained in servicing a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Learning Disabilities, Orthopedic Impairments, and Mental Retardation.
Milestone Therapeutic Services provides child-centered, goal oriented services that are customized to each child’s needs. Explorative play, tabletop, and motor-based activities are examples of therapy implemented to improve functional abilities. Pre-handwriting and handwriting skills are developed through the use of programs such as Jan Olsen’s Handwriting Without Tears.
Early intervention is the key for the acquisition of developmental milestones. Milestone Therapeutic Services specializes in assessing and treating developmental delays that may impact functional and school-based performance.
